Top Flight Ice Hockey

The Anaheim Ducks Top Flight Ice Hockey Program is a program designed for individuals with special needs to play the sport of ice hockey. While these programs focus on teaching hockey skills, participants also gain physical skills and coordination while learning about character, team work, and sportsmanship. The program is split into two sections: Learn to Play & Little Ducks.

  • Top Flight Learn to Play is a four-week program for those with intellectual disabilities where players will learn hockey basics. Players will participate in a weekly clinic focusing on the fundamentals of hockey including skating, shooting, passing and stick handling.
  • Top Flight Little Ducks is a six-week program that builds on what players have learned from their time in Learn to Play and will go more in-depth on fundamental skills that will help them succeed on and off the ice. A full set of Bauer hockey equipment with skates, along with a jersey, is included in the program fee.
