The 2024 Lakewood Holiday Festival is now open for registration! This is a fun opportunity for skaters of all ages and levels to sign up and perform for the love of the sport. In this recital format, skaters have a lot of creative freedom and (hopefully) less stress; these performances are not judged or ranked! Skaters can sign up to perform solos, duets or trios with friends, or join a production number (see below for more details)! The recital is also open to synchronized skating teams, ice theater teams and other teams who are interested in performing!
Friends & family are invited to come watch at no additional cost. We will also have a raffle and craft tables for kids to enjoy (raffle and craft tickets available on-site on December 14).
Important Festival Details!
Saturday, December 14, 2024
- 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- $60 per Skater for SOLO
- SOLO is defined as 1 skater only
- $80 total for a DUET
- DUET is two skaters
- $100 total for a TRIO
- TRIO is three skaters
- $125 total for an ENSEMBLE/TEAM
- ENSEMBLE/TEAM is more than three skaters
- When registering for Duet, Trio or Ensemble/Team, please register ONE TIME under ONE SKATER with ONE FULL PAYMENT ONLY.

Production Numbers
If you or your skater want to perform with a group but have no idea where to start, a production number might be the best fit!
What is a Production Number?
Imagine a Broadway musical number with the ensemble cast, singing and dancing in harmony, or the back-up dancers on stage while Taylor Swift does a quick change! These are production numbers at their best --- music, choreography, costuming, lighting, props and sets all coming together for an awesome performance. Where do they start? Right here at Lakewood ICE!
We're taking the first few steps ---we'll have the music, choreography, and costuming!
Production Number Details:
We'll have three different numbers broken down by skating age/level. Each number will require a minimum of 6 skaters to make it happen and have a weekly rehearsal, six in total. Rehearsals will be 30-40 minutes each and then the actual performance during the Holiday Festival on Saturday, December 14. Please see below for the exact schedule; practices will be in line with the standard Learn to Skate schedule (no rehearsal the week of Thanksgiving). The week following the performance date is listed as "bonus"...an extra day to come skate, work on skills or have fun with the coach.
Register TODAY! We will accept registrations until the second rehearsal day, Saturday, November 9. Please do not miss more than 2 rehearsals in total or speak with the coach about accommodations!
